Friends, welcome Rádielo Podcast, and our Zoom 2010.
It is our ninth year consecutive playing the Electric Light Orchestra's music and relative artists, I eat that way also, historic referent of the brumbeat and many artists but, traveling 5 decades in the history of the music next to them.
The intention is to do this season again 20 programs. As they know, this is a totally amateur project, in the year 2009 it was banked due to particular relative themes to my work, and especial pickups like the exclusive interviews could make only Jim Onslow and Steve Maher.
From this year just for my new labor activity, I reside in St. Rose Provincia of the Pampa of such form, we have left Radio Arte FM, of Gaiman, but I want to thank my friend Daniel Garabano for the manager of that radio for his support, during the 8 years that we had to disposition the radio to make the programs from the year 2002.
We will attempt this year from the podcast getting to all of the fans of the world with our proposal, without discarding that locally our programs may be emitted also by any FM's broadcasting station
Before going for music, I want to greet my companions and friends Pedro Jover of The Rioja in Argentina, Michel Lakos, of James of Chile, Jesus Rey and José Requena these 2 last Spanish, we all are staff of places of Internet on Electric Light Orchestra and relative. We go then to begin the program of today and as each one is our habit, our first 6 block that we will make, with 3 themes ...
We go for the decade of 60. The Tornados forms in 1962 Ron Smith, soon after they proceed to being named The Mad Classix to 1966 with good success in pubs's circuit in England, from 1962, characterized for his elegant presentations but also with acrobatic acts on the set specially for Johnny Wells his singer, Thanks To it they signed 1965 to touch at Germany for a tour of 6 months, they recorded a single for a program of German TV. Let's remind Ron Smith between the members, guitar solo performer, Jhonny Welss vocal, John Davies, bass, Dicky Darrel, battery, Brian Fowdrey, saxo tenor and John Williams that replaced right after the tour Wells in voices.
By chance a new member joins up to the return of that tour. Nothing else neither nothing less than the young Jeff Lynne. Ron Smith in a note says in the year 2006 that Jeff was 3 weeks with the band but it was noticeable that his future was grand and there was no form to retain it. We right now know as the history comes from Jeff. The Mad Classix keeps on existing only even 1966, but in recent years in meetings of historic bands, Mad Classix is an of which he was present with more force joining together 7 former members for the shows.
We are going to initiate Zoom 2020 with "My Honey Bunny" of 1965.
Next we go to follow with but the 60 Recordemos's music the interview to Steve Maher of last year, a surprise for him, right after 4 decades that they remember his band Tinkerbells Fairydust
Jeff Lynne also participated in the Tinks some weeks, and this band recorded the theme Follow Me Follow like side a single's B.
Discográfica decides to throw again to the 4 months of our interview, a Company the Tinks's only album 40 years after with bonus tracks. Originally the record was edited in one I number limited of copies in 1969 that's why one comes from the more expensive items of collection of the musical history negotiated in Ebay by collectors,
But today with this new CD all discográfica registered in Decca and of this work recovered we are going to listen to a theme first Pre Tink, of the band of the brothers Dave and Chas Wade called Tommy Bishop and Ricochets of 1965, band that had good success in pubs of London, did tours for Spain and touched at the bases of The North American Air Force in England. Also and shared tours with Bian Poole The Tremeloes, and Billy Kramer and The Dakotas.
We will listen to "I Should Have Known" for Tommy Bishop and Ricochets
And we will listen to 60 to the Tinkerbells Fairydust and a theme edited in the years to close the block just, included in this relaunching of the year 2009.- the bonus so-called track "Good Day".
